Haughton chippy - changing the Darlo Parmo game since last Monday 🤣

In all seriousness though, I'm usually extremely critical of takeaway Parmo's. Flat processed chicken topped with bland bechamel and cheap cheddar. So much so I refuse to eat them outside of a restaurant setting.

That all changed tonight.

Pro's-

•Thick succulent chicken breast.
•Crispy coating.
•Creamy and luxurious bechamel sauce, not an excessive amount either which can ruin a Parmo for me.
•A lovely blend of cheeses with plenty of individual flavour and character with each bite.
•Fully customiseable toppings (see second photo for pineapple and smoked bacon combo)
•Ususal high end chippy chips in abundance 
•The Sauces, oh my the sauces, I could do an individual review on them alone. Perfectly balanced Garlic which was thick and decadent & Chilli sauce to die for.

Con's-

•It had to end.

So to summarise. Buy them all now (or tomorrow as I'm sure they are closed) and prepare to be transported into a Parmo-wonder-land, where rivers of Garlic cascade peacefully into a lagoons of Cheese and Bechamel sauce.

Buckle up folks. These things are serious Parmo's!!

Easily the best fish and chips I've had in ages. Delivered really quickly and the food was piping hot. Even got a free portion of onion rings. Won't be going out for fish and chips again ever. I'll just have them delivered by these guys. Good job!

Passing through the area and needed something quick to eat. I had the fish and chips lunch menu for £6.50. Cooked quickly to order, chatted to friendly staff while I waited and really good value. The fish was clearly very fresh. This is the way all chip shops should be! Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Recommended

Best fish and chips i’ve had for ages. Shop was quite busy but I was served really quickly. Ate it in the car in their car park, out of paper wrapping. Old SKOOL! Apparently they deliver too, not heard of a chippy that does that. If i lived in Darlington they’d Be my local chippy that’s for sure. Keep up the good work guys.

Great fish and chips!

What a cracking little find. These guys are delivering fish and chips and they are really good. Food came faster than I expected, was piping hot, batter was crispy and in little cardboard boxes. Not greasy at all and I got a discount when I ordered online. Really good. I would definitely recommend.
